Belmont Academy is celebrating the achievements of two year 6 pupils who have shown incredible dedication and enthusiasm for running.

One pupil recently represented Team Bexley at the 2026 TCS Mini London Marathon Championships, experiencing the excitement of racing through London and crossing the iconic finish line on The Mall. Competing alongside talented young athletes from across the country was a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for the school.

Another Belmont pupil has reached an outstanding milestone by completing 250 junior parkruns, becoming the first runner from Lesnes Abbey Woods junior parkrun to achieve this incredible total. Having started running at just four years old, the pupil’s commitment and love for the sport has been truly inspiring.

Everyone at Belmont Academy is incredibly proud of both pupils and their achievements, which reflect the determination, resilience and community spirit encouraged throughout the school.
